What is PU synthetic leather?
PU synthetic leather is used in place of PVC artificial leather, although more expensive than PVC artificial leather its short term advantages and long term life span far outweigh the initial added cost. From the chemical structure point of view, PU is closer to the fabric cortex materials, which do not have plasticizers, such as Phthalates used to achieve its soft and pliable structure. PU will not harden over time, but instead will remain soft and pliable and not become brittle resulting in a longer lasting product with the feel of genuine leather.
